Police: Indecent Exposure, Suspicious Newspaper Delivery

Thursday, Jan. 19
Hit and Run: A resident reported that she heard tires screeching and a possible collision on Ash Avenue at 12:41 a.m. A second caller reported that a car hit a parked car and drove off.

Disturbing the Peace: A resident was out of town and received a call from his girlfriend that their roommate was disturbing the household. Officers responded to the location, but there was no answer at the door.
Animal: A dog was wandering in the road at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Red Hill Avenue at 7:10 a.m.

Suspicious Person: A man was staggering and possibly under the influence of alcohol at Rutherford Avenue and Butterfield Road at 11:41 a.m. Officers determined he was not under the influence of alcohol, but prescription medication.
Citizen Assist: A resident reported that her cell phone was stolen. While on follow-up at the location, an officer located the cell phone.
Indecent Exposure: A man on Red Hill Avenue was exposing his genitals at 2:40 p.m. Officers contact the man, who denied the report.
Vehicle Complaint: A car was driving in the wrong direction in traffic on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:14 p.m.
Grand Theft: Items were stolen from a car at Sir Francis Drake and San Francisco Boulevards.
Wednesday, Jan. 18
Noise: There was a loud noise on Sunnyhills Drive at 11:39 a.m. Officers located an oxygen tank that was causing the noise.
Animal: A dog was barking on Laurel Avenue at 12:28 p.m.
Suspicious Person: A suspicious man came to a door on Crooked Avenue at 7:34 p.m. asking for money. He was advised he needed a permit.
Annoying Phone Calls: A resident on Sunnyhills Drive continues to receive threatening phone calls.
Tuesday, Jan. 17
Suspicious Circumstances: Two males wearing dark clothing with flashlights were seen on Woodland Avenue at 3:13 a.m. Officers contacted two subjects, who were delivering newspapers.
Vehicle Accident: There was a possible traffic collision on Tunstead Avenue at 3:02 p.m.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported a suspicious occurrence involving her neighbor on San Anselmo Avenue at 5:58 p.m.
Burglary: A resident reported a recent burglary to her garage on Monterey Avenue.
Annoying Phone Calls: A resident has been receiving annoying text messages.
Monday, Jan. 16
Driving without a License: At a traffic stop at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Broadmoor Avenue at 9:33 a.m. a man was cited for driving while unlicensed.
Burglary: There was music equipment on the hill above Seminary Road. It belonged to the Seminary.
Suspicious Circumstances: Two men were behaving strangely and kept going in and out of their car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:22 p.m. Officers abated them from the area.
Vandalism: Damage was done to a car in December.
Possession of a Controlled Substance: A man collapsed on the street at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Cordone Avenue at 4:24 p.m. He was also handcuffed. Officers determined there was no medical merit and he had cuffed himself. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for violating his probation. He was booked into the county jail.
Driving on a Suspended License: During a traffic stop at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Madrone Avenue at 9:41 p.m., a driver was determined to be driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released and a licensed passenger drove the car home.
Fire: A resident thought something was burning under his house on Brookside Drive at 9:49 p.m. Officers found it was the smell of the furnace being used.
