Princess Buttercup Visits the Town Council

Michael Makintosh, , brought a special visitor to Wednesday night's Fairfax Town Council meeting: his pet boa, Princess Buttercup.

The snake visited with town staff, residents, and mostly rested on Makintosh's shoulders throughout the long meeting.

Fairfax Senior Planner Linda Neal was happy to hold the boa, who reportedly eats one large rat a week, and said she'd love to show off her pet snakes too.
