San Anselmo Event Showcases Renowned Artist

The event will be held Aug. 10 from noon to 1 p.m.

SAN ANSELMO, CA — The San Anselmo Public Library next month will hold a virtual presentation showcasing a renowned art.

The event with highlight the career of Hung Liu, a Chinese-born artist whose work is currently on display at a new de Young Museum installation.

Docent Christina Crosby lead a discussion on Liu’s roots in Maoist China and how the artist weaves her history with the stories of other immigrants who have left their indelible mark on California history, society, and culture.
