San Anselmo Library Event To Honor Pioneering Feminist Artist

Docent Victoria Kirby will lead the discussion of Judy Chicago's work.

SAN ANSELMO —A San Anselmo Public Library event next month will honor pioneering feminist author Judy Chicago.

Docent Victoria Kirby will lead the discussion as part of the library's Art Talk Tuesday series on Nov. 9 from noon to 2 p.m.

The event will include an exploration of Chicago’s work, from her early forays into minimalism to her current work addressing environmental issues.

Chicago’s work is currently on display at San Francisco’s de Young Museum.

Judy Chicago: A Retrospective, will be on display at the de Young through Jan. 9.
