San Anselmo Police: Dog Stuck in Culvert, Child Screaming

Wednesday, Aug. 24

Suspicious Circumstances: Construction noises were reported on Jordan Avenue at 2:32 a.m. Officers contacted the responsible party.

Accident – Minor Injury: There was a non-injury collision on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:12 p.m.

Animal: A dog was crying on San Anselmo Avenue at 3:05 p.m.

Suspicious Person: There was a suspicious person reported at Tunstead and San Anselmo Avenues at 4:26 p.m. Officers located nobody suspicious.

Reckless Driving: There was a reckless driver at Sir Francis Drake and San Francisco Boulevards at 5:48 p.m.

Animal: A dog climbed into a culvert and was stuck on Spring Grove Avenue at 7:09 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 23

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported a banging sound on her front door on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:06 a.m.

Suspicious Person: A suspicious man was walking on Ross Avenue at 7:18 a.m.

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop on Red Hill Avenue at 7:44 a.m., a man was determined to be driving without a valid license. He was cited and released and the car was towed to the impound.

Burglary: A subject accessed a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and medication was stolen.

Stolen Credit Card: A resident reported that her credit card was stolen.

Hit and Run: A car was involved in a hit and run on Red Hill Avenue.

Suspicious Circumstances: A child was heard screaming on Santa Barbara Avenue at 8:33 p.m. Officers found the child was just upset.

Monday, Aug. 22

Burglary: A resident reported bikes were stolen from a locked shed on Forrest Avenue.

Municipal Code Violation: There was a leafblower violation on Magnolia Avenue at 11:11 a.m. Officers contacted landscapers, who were using an electric hedge trimmer.

Burglary: A resident reported vandalism and the theft of some jewelry from a residence on Hillside Avenue.

Solicitor: Female subjects were soliciting in front of a business on Red Hill Avenue at 12:20 p.m. and refused to leave. So

Petty Theft: Sometime over the weekend, an unlocked car was entered on Brookside drive and an iPod was stolen.

Family Disturbance: A resident was having a verbal dispute with his son on San Anselmo Avenue.

Vandalism: Within the previous week, someone kicked in a back door on Broadmoor Avenue.

Vandalism: A car was keyed on Sais Avenue.

Noise: A resident reported excessively loud music from a residence on San Anselmo Avenue at 8:13 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances A resident reported that he was waling to his car with his dogs and thought a subject nearby sprayed what seemed like pepper spray at him and the dogs on San Francisco Boulevard at 8:50 p.m.

Barking Dog: Dogs were barking on Oak Springs Drive at 11:16 p.m. Coyotes were also heard howling in the area.
