San Anselmo Police: Juveniles on Roof, Baton Confiscated, Reckless Driving

The following arrest information was supplied by the San Anselmo police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, June 9

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported a verbal disturbance at a residence on San Anselmo Avenue at 2:38 a.m. Officers determined there was no disturbance. The resident called back a second time and officers responded again, but found it quiet on arrival.

Animal: A dog was locked in a car on Madrone Avenue at 11:19 a.m. The dog was in the shade and not in distress.

Juveniles: Three juveniles were on a roof on Ross Avenue at 3:31 p.m.

Suspicious Person: A subject was talking to himself on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:52 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a female subject yelling on Oak Avenue at 6:06 p.m.

Fraud: A resident’s debit card was stolen and there were fraudulent charges.

Suspicious Circumstances: Subjects were going through recyclables on Sycamore Avenue at 10:43 p.m. 

Wednesday, June 8

Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported she was having a dispute with her father.

Noise: There was loud music on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:34 a.m.

Fire: A car was leaking radiator fluid on San Anselmo Avenue.

Noise: There was loud amplified music on Ash Avenue at 1:39 p.m.

Reckless Driving: There was a reckless driving at Crescent Lane and Woodland Avenue at 1:50 p.m.

Grand Theft: There was a theft from a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:18 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A group of juveniles was in a car on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:34 p.m. and possibly in possession of a billy-club. Officers found a police-style baton, which was confiscated.

Tuesday, June 7

Prowler: An unknown subject was walking around a property on Salinas Avenue at 4 a.m.

Suspicious Person: A man in a parked car on San Francisco Boulevard called out to women walking by at 7:20 a.m. It was suspected he was doing something lewd in his car. Officers determined the subject was simply calling out to his dog.

Reckless Driving: A woman was driving recklessly at San Anselmo and Lansdale Avenues at 7:45 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstanes: A car was driving the wrong direction down the street at Red Hill and Sequoia Avenues at 12:15 p.m.

Road rage: There was a road rage incident on Pastori Avenue at 12:56 p.m. One party slashed the other’s tires as a result.

Unwanted Subject: A man was acting strangely on San Anselmo Avenue at 7:14 p.m. He was moved along.

Noise: Juveniles were playing loudly on Ross Avenue at 10:56 p.m. They were abated from the area.

Suspicious Person: A man was dancing and drinking in the street on Myrtle Avenue at 11:22 p.m. He was abated from the area.
