San Anselmo Police: Kid Stuck Behind Pillar, Cash Found, Loud Parties

Sunday, June 12

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident heard people running on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:50 a.m.

Noise: A power saw was in use on Cedar Street at 8:23 a.m.

Civil Problem: A subject, who had been evicted, invited non-residents over to a pool on Tamalpais Avenue. Management requested that they be told to leave.

Public Intoxication: Following a 9-1-1 hang-up, a resident advised sheriff’s officers that an intoxicated man was in the area of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Butterfield Road at 8:03 p.m. The resident was transporting him home when he became difficult and got out of her car.

Saturday, June 11

Found: A resident reported that she found cash lying on the ground on San Anselmo Avenue.

Grand Theft: A theft was reported from a residence on San Anselmo Avenue. Officers determined there was no merit.

Reckless Driving: A car was traveling at high speed and following closely behind a motorcycle on Woodside Drive at 2:06 p.m.

Noise: There was a leaf blower in use for over an hour on Merced Avenue.

Accident – No Injury: Officers observed a traffic collision with no injuries at Saunders Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:55 p.m.

Assist: A child was stuck between a wall and a pillar in a building on Greenfield Avenue at 8:13 p.m. Officers responded with the fire department and freed the child.

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking on Santa Barbara Avenue at 8:16 p.m.

Suspicious Person: A subject was reported skateboarding nude on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:34 p.m.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Beverly Way at 9:54 p.m.

Noise: There was a loud party at a residence on Terrace Avenue at 11:41 p.m. 

Friday, June 10

Barking Dog: There was a dog barking on Berkeley Avenue at 12:08 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident reported that he thought he was being followed and that his phone was tapped.

Animal: Dogs were reported off leash on Crescent Road at 9:44 a.m.

Noise: There was loud music at a residence on Tamalpais Avenue at 11:58 A.M.

Animal: A dog was running with a garbage car near Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Bolinas Avenue at 12:31 p.m.

Driving without a License: At a traffic stop at Long Mountain Press at 3:28 p.m., a man was cited and released for driving without a license.

Disturbing the Peace: An officer provided advice regarding a neighbor issue.

Driving Under the Influence: A possible drunk driver was reported at San Anselmo Avenue and Redwood Road at 6:15 p.m. At a traffic stop, a man was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Shoplifting: A female juvenile was detained for shoplifting on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:41 p.m. Officers responded and the juvenile was issued a citation.

Suspicious Circumstances: Two males were reported attempting to break into cars on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:50 p.m. Officers determined there was no merit to any theft.
