San Anselmo Police: Man Yelling in Bushes, Fights, Jewelry Stolen

Sunday, Nov. 6

Suspicious Circumstances: A car was heard revving its engine at Scenic Avenue and Summit Road at 12:11 a.m. and several subjects were making a lot of noise. Officers contacted two subjects.

Alarm: A car alarm was sounding every 45 minutes on Austin Avenue at 3:48 a.m.

Burglary: An unknown subject entered an unlocked residence on Cedar Street and took several items.

Juveniles: Two juveniles were yelling at cars as they drove by at Red Hill and Sequoia Avenues at 6:42 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A man was standing in the bushes on San Anselmo Avenue and yelling at people as they went by at 6:43 p.m. Subject was placed into custody for detox and taken into a facility.

Saturday, Nov. 5

Burglary: An unknown subject entered a resident’s unlocked residence on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 11:32 a.m. and took a backpack and set of keys.

Suspicious Person: A subject was urinating on the sidewalk on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:30 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: Officers responded to a report of a subject following another subject, who was attempting to start a physical altercation on Center Boulevard at 3:34 p.m.

Suspicious Person: A suspicious subject appeared to be hiding in an empty storefront on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 3:41 p.m.

Unwanted Subject: A subject asked an employee at a shop on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard to step outside who they could settle their differences. Officers contacted three subjects, who were issued trespass warnings.

Noise: There was a loud party on Elm Avenue at 10:03 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 4

Accident – Minor Injury: A driver reported a bicyclist ran into his car door on Sycamore Avenue at 8:59 a.m. Officers determined there was no need for medical.

Barking Dog: There was a barking dog on Laurel Avenue at 12:56 p.m.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a verbal altercation on San Anselmo Avenue at 1:47 p.m.

Vehicle Complaint: A car was swerving in the lanes of traffic at The Hub at 2:10 p.m. It was determined the driver was not intoxicated.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a verbal altercation on San Anselmo Avenue at 2:22 p.m.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Crescent Road at 5:34 p.m.

Juveniles: A group of juveniles appeared to be intoxicated on Theresa Court at 6:18 p.m.

Burglary: A resident reported that when she came home she found jewelry was stolen from her apartment on San Anselmo Avenue.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Crescent Road and a resident requested to sign a citizen’s arrest because it’s an ongoing problem.
