San Anselmo Police: Public Intoxication, DUI Accident, Kids Playing in the Streets

Sunday, Aug. 14
Noise: A group of people were talking loudly on Brookside Drive at 3:08 a.m.
Barking Dog: There was a dog barking at 8 a.m.

Disturbing the Peace: There was a verbal altercation between a group on Mariposa Avenue at 10:34 a.m.
Noise: There was a loud noise at Memorial Park at 7:05 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: Two female juveniles were lost on Aspen Court and didn’t know their way home at 7:12 p.m.
Warrant Arrest: A man was intoxicated and refused to leave a business on Greenfield Avenue at 7:22 p.m. Officers found he had an outstanding warrant and was arrested and booked into the county jail.
Disturbing the Peace: An unwanted subject came to a resident’s property on Sycamore Avenue at 7:47 p.m.Â
Saturday, Aug. 13
Noise: There was a loud party on Hillside Avenue at 12:30 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A resident reported her daughter was intoxicated and out of control on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 12:40 a.m. Officers responded, but she had already left the residence. She was located, arrested and booked into the county jail for public intoxication.
Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported a dispute with a roommate on Butterfield Road at 9:35 a.m. The house manager arrived and mediated.
Suspicious Person: A subject was loitering on Center Boulevard at 9:53 a.m. in the area of what looks like a campsite.
Barking Dog: Two dogs were barking on Laurel Avenue at 12:31 p.m. Officers noted the barking and left a note for the resident.
Accident – Minor Injury: A resident reported a minor injury at San Francisco and Sir Francis Drake Boulevards at 12:53 p.m.
Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported a subject was yelling at her and threw an object at her car on San Anselmo Avenue over a parking space at 1:14 p.m.
Temporary Restraining Order: A resident reported a subject at her home in violation of a restraining order on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1:24 p.m.
Burglary: Stereo equipment was taken from a home on Crooked Avenue.
Reckless Driving: There was a speeding car at Center Boulevard and Saunders Avenue at 2:36 p.m.
Suspicious Person: Juveniles with possible drug activity were at Center Boulevard and San Anselmo Avenue at 3:08 p.m.
Suspicious Circumstances: An officer was flagged down and advised there was a suspicious juvenile on San Anselmo Avenue at 3:19 p.m.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking for two hours on Laurel Avenue.
Suspicious Person: A suspicious subject was possibly holding a knife on San Anselmo Avenue at 6:28 p.m. Officers contacted a subject matching the description and found he just arrived home and didn’t have a knife.
Accident – No Injury: There was a two-vehicle accident at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Suffield Avenue at 6:29 p.m.
Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported a verbal altercation with his girlfriend on San Anselmo Avenue at 6:39 p.m.
Juvenile Problem: Residents on Kemp Avenue were allowing their kids to play in the street, making it difficult for traffic to pass.
Barking Dog: Dogs were barking for three hours on Miwok Drive.
Juveniles: Multiple juveniles were loitering on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:56 p.m.
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident arrived home from vacation and found his garage door open on Rutherford Avenue at 8 p.m. Officers checked the property and nothing suspicious was noted.
Juvenile Problem: Juveniles were congregating on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:19 p.m. and they leave garbage around.
Barking Dog: There were barking dogs on Laurel Avenue at 10:50 p.m. and the residents were told the police were aware of the situation.
Friday, Aug. 12
Fraud: A fraudulent credit card was used on Greenfield Avenue several weeks earlier.
Disturbing the Peace: A resident reported a verbal altercation at a residence on Brookmead Court at 5:40 p.m.
Accident with DUI Driver: A resident reported that she was following a possible DUI driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 7:22 p.m. Before officers arrived on the scene, the car was involved in a collision. Officers responded and the woman was determined to be intoxicated. She was arrested and booked for driving under the influence.
Barking Dog: There were dogs barking on San Francisco Boulevard, Laurel Avenue and Barber Avenue.
