San Anselmo: Public Intoxication, Deer Disappears

Sunday, Jan. 22

Suspicious Circumstances: A Ross Police Department unit advised there was a man lying in the road on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 1 a.m. and kicking his feet.

Burglary: An unknown subject entered a business on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and items were taken.

Grand Theft: Items were taken from a car on Hillcrest Court.

Grand Theft: Items were taken from a car on Hooper Lane.

Fire: Officers responded to a chimney fire on Carlson Avenue and determined it was contained.

Suspicious Circumstances: A former employee was reported in a residence on San Anselmo Avenue and was refusing to leave at 7:01 p.m. Officers were en route when the resident’s son called and said the resident suffers from dementia and the employee was her caretaker.

Animal: A resident hit a deer, but when she pulled over the deer was gone.

Vandalism: Glass was heard breaking and there was a pounding sound from upstairs on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:36 p.m. A tenant had broken two windows with her fist possibly over a domestic matter.

Saturday, Jan. 21

Terrorist Threats: A resident reported that her child’s father kicked her door down and was intoxicated on Essex Road at 1:47 a.m. He was arrested for public intoxication, vandalizing property and making criminal threats.

Petty Theft: Items were stolen from a car on Hillcrest Court.

Hazard: There appeared to be some material slipping off the side of a building on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Vandalism: A resident reported that a cyclist hit the passenger side door of her car.

Wires Down: There were wires down at the end of Florence Avenue at 4:05 p.m.

Juveniles: A male juvenile was skateboarding and yelling obscenities at Saunders Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:09 p.m.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking on Laurel Avenue at 10:10 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 20

Fire: Branches on power lines on Foss Avenue were causing sparks and flames at 7:25 a.m.

Suspicious Person: There was a suspicious subject on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 10:40 a.m. saying strange things.

Hazard: Lincoln Park was flooding. A storm drain was cleared.

Department of Public Works: There was a pothole at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Spaulding Street.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident heard footsteps coming from an attached room to his garage on Chipman Place. Officers found the room empty.
