Bank of the West announced last week winner's of its Northern California Philanthropy Awards, which included a $15,000 prize to the Ross Valley Ecumenical Housing Association - the organization that owns and manage - for the top prize in the category of Team Member Committment.
"This wonderful honor not only helps us financially so we can continue to offer truly affordable housing for seniors in Marin, but it gives a real boost to our outreach and education," said Chris Highland, Tam House Manager.
Along with the $15,000 prize, Bank of the West created a video honoring Tam House for their work to be used in outreach. The video can be seen above.

Only three organizations were chosen as "laureates" for the $15,000 and video prize: Tam House, Ignite, and the Oral Lee Foundation.
Tam House, two actual houses in San Anselmo neighborhoods, provides affordable housing and support for seniors in Marin -- and has done so for 30 years.

“As both a board member of the RVEHA/Tam House and a long-time resident of San Anselmo, I am extremely grateful that Tam House was selected for this generous award and high honor,” said Lindsey McLorg, who is also a vice president at Bank of the West.
