2 Suspects Arrested In San Bruno Commercial Burglary Case
Two men have been arrested for a recent San Bruno business burglary where a cash register was removed from the premises.

SAN BRUNO, CA -- Two men, including one from South San Francisco, have been arrested for a recent business burglary where a cash register was removed from the premises.
The case was opened at 4:31 a.m. on Sunday, July 21 when San Bruno Police officers responded to the 600 Block of East San Bruno Avenue regarding the report of a burglary in progress. A witness watched as two suspects fled the area where a window to a business had been broken. A subsequent search of the premises revealed that a cash register had been removed from the business.
The investigation identified one of the suspects as 39 year-old Richard Anthony Aguiar of Medford, Oregon. Further investigation revealed that a warrant for Aguiar’s arrest had been issued in the State of Oregon for the crime of commercial burglary.

On Thursday, July 25, detectives from Oregon contacted the South San Francisco Police Department to inform them that Aguiar may be living with family members in South San Francisco. The South San Francisco Police Department then relayed the information to the San Bruno Police Department.
Members from the South San Francisco and San Bruno Police Departments located Aguiar at a residence in South San Francisco and placed him under arrest pursuant to the warrant, as well as the burglary in San Bruno. The second suspect in the San Bruno burglary was determined to be 35 year-old South San Francisco resident Steven Douglas Ramey. Ramey was taken into custody a short time following Aguiar’s arrest. Both suspects were booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to commercial burglary.
