Foundation Launches Campaign to Raise Money for San Bruno Schools

To continue its efforts to enhance the quality of education for all San Bruno children, the San Bruno Education Foundation has launched its annual campaign to help fund schools throughout the city.

The nonprofit organization is asking all parents to give $180 per student as an investment in the students for the 2012-2013 school year. With the donation, the foundation will be able to fund critical programs at every school such as:

  • Instructional Aides, putting more educators in the classrooms
  • Physical Education instruction, keeping kids fit
  • Music, improving academic performance
  • Mouse Squad, training kids to work in computer technology
  • Parkside transition expenses, investing in a 21st century education for all

According to the foundation, $180 per student—one dollar per school day—is a small price to help educate our children. All of the donations go straight to the schools.
