The students organized a lunchtime ceremony Monday to commemorate the second anniversary of the 2010 pipeline explosion in the Crestmoor neighborhood.

Students at Capuchino High organized a lunchtime ceremony Monday to commemorate the second anniversary of the 2010 pipeline explosion in the Crestmoor neighborhood.

Many wore white, heart-shaped lollipops were passed out and students were asked to sign an oversized poster to remember the day.

After a moment of silence, they released balloons in the air, paying homage to the eight people who lost their lives in the fire.
