Lions Club Announces Plans for 72nd Annual Posy Parade
The parade is the oldest non-motorized children's parade in the country.
The San Bruno Lions Club announced today on its Facebook page that this year's Posy Parade will be held on Sunday, June 3.
AsΒ the oldest non-motorized children's parade in the country, the parade will be celebrating its 72nd year. The theme for this year's event will be "Education is Everything."
Every year, schools and organizations march with their custom-built floats through downtown from to . A princess court is selected and gets to ride on a float throughout the parade. This year, alumni from Capuchino High's marching band are also expected to join current band members and participate in the parade.
