Literacy Event Celebrates Children, Books and Family

Saturday's Day of the Child, an event organized by the San Bruno Park School District and a number of San Bruno and local community groups, was all about kids and fun in the name of promoting literacy. Día de los Niños is also part of a national celebration that brings families together to celebrate the diversity of their cultures. Each child who participated in activities set up PTAs throughout the district was able to receive a free book before they left.
