Around 24 hours later, LAPD detectives flew up, picked up the suspect and flew him back to face charges in Los Angeles County.
"For perspective, it’s roughly 370 miles from San Bruno PD to LAPD Headquarters — but no matter the distance, we’ll continue working hand-in-hand with our law enforcement partners to make sure dangerous suspects face justice," police said.

Officers said there will be a case filed with the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office for the weapon-related charges.
The police department has not released the suspect's name at this time.
