New Details Revealed About YouTube Shooter In Autopsy

Nasim Aghdam is accused of shooting three people at the tech giant's headquarters before turning the gun on herself.

SAN BRUNO, CA — Months after Nasim Aghdam killed herself at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno — after first shooting three workers — new details were revealed this week about her death.

An autopsy report by the San Mateo County Coroner's Office said Aghdam, 38, shot herself in the heart before authorities were able to reach her on April 3, according to the Mercury News.

Aghdam reportedly "turned the 9 mm Smith and Wesson to her chest, then shot herself — at a 15-degree downward angle — through the heart," Mercury News reported.

"The pathology report from the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office showed no evidence of alcohol or drugs in her system or other medical conditions that might have contributed to her mental state," the newspaper wrote.

Aghdam was reportedly angry at the tech company after YouTube changed their monetization model for videos, according to family members. Days before the shooting, she drove from Southern California to Northern California before carrying out the shooting in San Bruno.
