Police Log: Customer Gets More Than He Pays for at Massage Parlor

Thursday

2:03 p.m. A resident called police after getting a suspicious letter from the Internal Revenue Service, which said the resident's tax refund had been withheld. The resident discovered that someone had fraudulently used the resident's Social Security number to gain employment.

9:56 a.m. Police received a report that four bicycles were stolen from a carport overnight on the 200 block of San Anselmo Avenue North.

12:17 p.m. A resident told police his wife woke up in the morning to find 16 bicycles, a duffel bag and other items in their carport on the 200 block of Carlton Avenue.

1:41 p.m. A burglary was reported on the 100 block of Elm Avenue.

3:41 p.m. A man told polce that an employee at a massage parlor he was at touched him inappropriately. When he asked for his money back, the employee refused, police said.

10:59 p.m. A gray Dodge sedan was broken into on the 1200 block of El Camino Real. A bag was stolen from the car.

Saturday

4:14 a.m. A water main broke on the 2200 block of Valleywood Drive.

11:32 a.m. A rock was thrown through the window of a red Jeep Cherokee on the 100 block of Santa Maria Avenue.

2:30 p.m. A black Ford Explorer was broken into on the 1200 block of El Camino Real. A backpack and other items were stolen.

Sunday

12:33 a.m. A drunk driver was spotted on the 300 block of El Camino Real.

8:50 a.m. A gray Mitsubishi Eclipse was vandalized on the 900 block of Huntington Avenue. The car's hood was scratched and window broken, police said.

9:24 a.m. A Honda Accord was burglarized overnight on the 500 block of Seventh Avenue.

9:47 a.m. Police received a missing child report for a teenager who left home the previous night on the 600 block of Green Avenue and didn't return.
