Police Log: String of Catalytic Converter Thefts Reported
The following information was supplied by the San Bruno Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday
9:27 a.m. A catalytic converter was stolen from a white Toyota Tacoma on the 500 block of Cedar Avenue.
10:07 a.m. A catalytic converter was stolen from a white Toyota 4Runner on the 400 block of Maple Avenue.

10:19 a.m. A catalytic converter was stolen from a black Toyota 4Runner on the 400 block of Oak Avenue.
10:39 a.m. A catalytic converter was stolen from a black 1999 Toyota Tacoma on the 500 block of Cedar Avenue.

10:53 a.m. A catalytic converter was stolen from a 1997 Toyota pickup truck.
11:10 a.m. Someone fraudulently used a resident’s Social Security number and name to purchase a home in Pittsburg.
2:25 p.m. Someone fraudulently used a resident’s bank information to pay for $500 worth of phone bills.
9:58 p.m. A white 1995 Acura Integra was stolen on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
Friday
6:46 a.m. Police were called out to the 3500 block of Exeter Drive for a parolee search. Throughout the morning, police arrested at least two people—one person in connection with false impersonation and another for a $50,000 warrant from Santa Clara.
4:03 p.m. A robbery involving a knife was reported on the 200 block of San Bruno Avenue East.
4:13 p.m. Police received a report of grand theft on the 1100 block of El Camino Real in which $1,240.85 was stolen.
8:55 p.m. A 1991 Acura coupe was stolen on the 3200 block of Fleetwood Drive.
10:13 p.m. Police received a call from a resident on the 800 block of Green Avenue saying a friend stole something from his or her mother’s room. Police later received a stolen vehicle report from the same home.
Saturday
9:50 p.m. Police received a call about fireworks being illegally set off on the 1800 block of Claremont Drive.
Sunday
12:17 a.m. Police were called to Bayshore Court South because several people were fighting in a backyard at a New Year’s Eve party that went bad. Police later received a report about an officer being assaulted during the incident.
Sometime before 2:25 a.m., a drunk driver was spotted near El Camino Real and Park Place.
Sometime before 3:23 a.m., a drunk driver was spotted on the 2100 block of Crestmoor Drive.
10:46 a.m. A vehicle was stolen on the 200 block of Carlton Avenue.
1:31 p.m. Graffiti was reported being seen on a pump station on the 300 block of Forest Lane.
