Police Log: Three Vehicles Burglarized Within Minutes on Oakmont Drive

Thursday
8:40 a.m. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of Cypress Avenue.
12:35 p.m. A black Kia Rio was stolen on the 100 block of San Felipe Avenue.

7:16 a.m. Police apprehended an employee of a business on the 1100 block of El Camino Real on suspicion of embezzling $1,600 from the store.
10:02 a.m. A male threatened to kill his aunt and uncle on Tanforan Avenue.
1:54 p.m. A light brown Honda CRV was stolen on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
6:27 p.m. A man was cleaning his gun on the 1000 block of National Avenue when he accidentally fired it, leaving a bullet in his door. He wasn’t sure where the bullet went, the man told police.
7:31 p.m. Police received a report that a coyote was seen the day before on the 2200 block of Evergreen Drive. Another coyote was spotted on the street Friday.
9:20 p.m. A truck flipped over and the driver was injured near El Camino Real and Sneath Lane.
Sunday
9:24 a.m. A silver Mitsubishi Lancer was burglarized on the 2300 block of Oakmont Drive.
9:30 a.m. A white Ford F150 was burglarized on the 2200 block of Oakmont Drive.
Sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 4:29 p.m., another vehicle was burglarized on the 2300 block of Oakmont Drive.
4:29 p.m. Police received a call from a female resident who said her boyfriend struck her in the mouth during an argument at The Shops at Tanforan and took her money, identification card, Social Security card and credit cards.
6:05 p.m. Police responded to a report that someone stole a $5,000 ring on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
6:18 p.m. Police received a call that someone was fraudulently using a resident’s Social Security number.
9:34 p.m. A black 1991 Nissan Sentra was stolen on the 200 block of Santa Lucia Avenue.
11:01 p.m. A woman told police that she received a suspicious call from a man on the 800 block of El Camino Real who was whispering, “I can see you.”
