San Bruno Now Accepting 2019 Beautification Award Nominations

SAN BRUNO, CA -- Want to recognize your neighbor’s efforts? Do you keep your front yard in top shape? Know a business or community group that's contributed to the “curb appeal” of the city?

Then nominate them -- or yourself -- for the City of San Bruno's Annual Beautification Awards. The annual awards recognize the efforts of residents and businesses to improve the physical appearance of our community. The focus is on exteriors requiring a significant commitment on the part of the property owner or renter.

A panel of volunteers will judge the entries, and the number and ranking of awards will be at the discretion of the judges. Categories include Single Family Residence, Improved Residential Property, Commercial/Industrial Property and more.

Nominations can be submitted through 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 via the City of San Bruno's website: https://www.sanbruno.ca.gov/gov/boards_commissions_n_committees/beautification_awards_nomination_form.htm They can also be submitted in person or mailed to the City Clerk at City Hall, 567 EI Camino Real, San Bruno, CA 94066.
