San Bruno Police Log, Aug. 23-25: Stolen Rims, Unwanted Repairman, and Group Taunting Bar Patrons

A sampling of incidents reported to the San Bruno Police from Aug. 23-25.

Aug. 23

2:53am. Someone reported a stolen vehicle on the 400 block of San Mateo Avenue.

1:11pm. Someone reported that rims had been stolen from vehicles on the 700 block of Shelter Creek Lane.

8:42pm. A house fire was reported on the 200 block of Terrace Avenue.

1:14am. Police responded to a report of a group of four people causing a disturbance in the parking lot of The Dog House bar. About 35 minutes later, the same group was reported to be in the parking lot taunting patrons inside the bar.

5:46pm. Someone reported that a suspicious man was knocking on her door and insisting on making repairs to her home. Police were called to check on the area.

Aug. 25

2:53pm. Two callers said they overhead what sounded like cherry bombs go off on the 200 block of Mastick Avenue.

5:06pm. Someone reported that a catalytic converter had allegedly been stolen from the person's car.
