Video Students Produce Stunning Short Films
Students from the Art of Video class showcase their end-of-the-year shorts and documentaries.
You could go to Sundance or Cannes to get your film festival fix. But you'd be missing some up-and-coming local talent from right inside the classroom walls of . A number of students from the school's Art of Video and IB Film program recently produced their own short films and documentaries. It shouldn't be surprising to anyone that they're pretty good.
The Art of Video and IB Film program is a digital filmmaking program for teens at Capuchino High School. The course studies the art of filmmaking through experience with hands on-projects and the study of film. Dominic Bigue founded the program in 2000. He's also the instructional technology coordinator for the San Mateo Unified High School District.
