What Does San Bruno Have to Say About the State of the Union Speech 2012?

President Barack Obamaβs state of the union speech on Tuesday prompted a slew of reactions from politicians and pundits.
In his speech, Obama talked about strengthening American manufacturing, going after unfair trade practices overseas, doing away with tax cuts for the rich and expanding the countryβs energy baseβall in a tone to encourage congress members and all government leaders to support policies that would revive the United States as a country βbuilt to last.β
As The Huffington Post reported, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, who delivered the Republican response to Obamaβs speech, accused the president of pushing an extreme agenda that was βpro-poverty.β

Even former Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain got in the mix by delivering a rebuttal on behalf of the Tea Party, although it apparently wasnβt received with as much fanfare as the previous two speeches, TheΒ Huffington PosΒ reported.
If nothing else, the state of the union speech and ensuing debate were quite riveting, considering this is a presidential election year.
