Best Buy in San Carlos Robbed of iPhones

The armed robbery occurred at about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Sheriff's deputies were continuing to search for a man who pulled a gun on an employee at a San Carlos Best Buy store during a robbery Wednesday, a San Mateo County sheriff's spokeswoman said.

The incident happened sometime around 1 p.m. when the suspect asked an employee to see some electronics, then snatched the goods and brandished the weapon as he exited the store, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s who was wearing a white jacket and blue jeans. He fled in black BMW with dark, tinted windows, sheriff's Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt said.
