
This afternoon, the PAL (Police Athletic League) Bay Division baseball champion Carlmont Scots will take on the Homestead High Mustangs (17-13) in round one of the Division 1 CCS (Central Coast Section) tournament.
According to the San Mateo Daily Journal, the 10th-seeded Scots ended the season on a 4-0 run. Nine of the Scots players posted double digit numbers in RBIs. Johnathan Corvello was Carlmont’s top hitter, with a .409 batting average and driving in 20 runs.
The game will be played at Homestead in Cupertino at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.
