Deputies Seize Child Porn Evidence From San Carlos Suspect: SMC
San Mateo Co. detectives received a tip of accusations he was distributing the unlawful material and located the man from an IP address.
SAN CARLOS, CA — A 45-year-old San Carlos man was taken into custody after San Mateo County detectives received a tip upon accusations he was distributed child pornography, the sheriff's office reported.
Detectives discovered an IP address for the suspect identified as Richar Hartman and located his residence in the 300 block of Laurel Street in San Carlos in June.
After an extensive investigation, detectives served a search warrant at his home and found evidence of child pornography, sheriff's deputies indicated.

Detectives believe this is an isolated incident, and there are no other suspects related to this
investigation.
