Industrial Rd. Re-Opens Following Gas Leak
A gas leak in the 700 block of Industrial Road in San Carlos is now under control. One lane in each direction of Industrial Road remains is now open.
According to a business owner on Industrial Road in San Carlos, one lane of traffic in each direction is now open following a natural gas leak that prompted police and fire officials to close a portion of the road completely Wednesday afternoon.
located at 780 Industrial Rd. said, "Standing across the street you can smell the natural gas and hear an audible hiss coming from the area. Local businesses have been alerted of a leak but no one has been asked to evacuate at this time."
Sevim said San Carlos police and fire arrived on the scene and closed the roadway down while PG&E crews capped off the leak.
