Peninsula Teen Accused Of Anti-semitic, Racial Vandalism: SMC

The juvenile was arrested and released to his parents Wednesday after deputies found him exiting a Crestview Park restroom with tools: SMC.

SAN CARLOS, CA — A 15-year-old San Carlos boy was taken into custody and released to his parents Wednesday in connection with a rash of vandalisms at various parks, which appear to be Anti-semitic and racially motivated in nature, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department reported.

The boy, who was arrested while leaving a restroom at Crestview Park at 9:45 p.m., is accused of vandalism as well as possession of a dagger and tobacco products, according to the sheriff's report.

The juvenile was associated with recent vandalisms upon a search that led to his having graffiti implements and other paraphernalia. Two other juveniles who were not present were identified as potential suspects. The two other subjects are being investigated for separate vandalisms.
