San Carlos School Worker Now Accused Of Lewd Acts With 3 Girls

A third victim has been identified in the case against an Emerald Hills man accused of inappropriately touching young girls.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA -- A third victim has been identified in the case against an Emerald Hills man accused of inappropriately touching young girls. Hoang Tran was re-arrested Thursday and booked into jail on charges of lewd acts with a child.

The Sheriff's Office began investigation Tran in September after a 6-year-old girl disclosed that she had been inappropriately touched by Tran while he worked as a program aid at an after-school care program on the Brittan Acres Elementary School campus in San Carlos.

An investigation brought forward two other victims, one was a 7-year-old girl, officials said.

Tran was fired from his job at the San Carlos School District. His bail is set for $100,000.

The case is still under investigation.
