Satellite Healthcare Opens New Dialysis Center in San Carlos

SAN CARLOS, CA - Satellite Healthcare, a leading national not-for-profit and the 6th largest provider of patient-centered dialysis and kidney disease services, recently opened a new dialysis center in San Carlos.

In addition to providing in-center dialysis, the new facility houses four training rooms where specially-certified nurses educate patients to perform their own treatments at home. The new training rooms align with Satellite’s aspirational goal to double the number of its patients who dialyze at home from 20% to 40%. Many patients choose home dialysis for greater schedule flexibility and comfort.

Satellite Healthcare San Carlos, located at 1125 Industrial Road, Suite G, recently held a grand opening where patients toured the center for the first time. The event was capped off with a ribbon cutting by Satellite Healthcare San Carlos Medical Director Toby Gottheiner, MD.
