State Route 92 Reopens After Big Rig Crash

At one point, the big rig shut down all lanes on SR-92 between the Crystal Springs Reservoir and Skyline Memorial Park until 2:30 pm.

SAN CARLOS, CA — The not-so-bustling State Route 92 reopened following a single-vehicle crash involving a semi truck towing a 48-foot trailer, which veered off and flipped over on the roadway east of upper State Route 35.

The crash closed off all west-and eastbound traffic between the Crystal Springs Reservoir and Skylawn Memorial Park at one point during the efforts to clear the big rig off the Peninsula highway.

A Sig Alert was issued by California Highway Patrol at 10:39 a.m. and traffic was delayed through the area until 3 p.m. Two tow trucks had responded to the scene to remove the truck and trailer.
