Transient Arrested, Accused Of Vehicle Tampering: SMC
The 22-year-old transient male was trying to gain access to a vehicle on Walnut Street in San Carlos, according to sheriff's deputies.

SAN CARLOS, CA — A 22-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of vehicle tampering Thursday in San Carlos off a report of an auto burglary in progress, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department reported.
The county's San Carlos bureau were dispatched to the 900 block of Walnut Street in San Carlos at 12:06 a.m. after the victim reported his video system had captured an unknown male identified as Jordan Mann was attempting to gain entry into his vehicle parked in front of his residence. Mann did not gain entry and quickly walked away from the scene.
Sheriff’s deputies searched the area and stopped the suspect nearby at the intersection of Morse Boulevard and Walnut Street.

Mann is on probation for other property crimes and was booked into the Maguire Correctional
facility with new charges.
