New Restaurant to Debut in Casino
Affiliated with Jay's Catering in Garden Grove, the breakfast/lunch place will also feature a market. Owners hope to open in September.
Casino San Clemente is leasing out space in its historic building to a restaurant that will be operated by Jay's Catering of Garden Grove.
The owners won't release the name yet, but say they're aiming for a September opening. Chef Wende Gavin spoke to Patch as she handled the paella at Sunday's benefit art auction for the Boys & Girls Clubs at the Casino.
"It's gonna be sexy," she said. "You're gonna want to come have breakfast with me."

Gavin said the restaurant serve breakfast and lunch and feature a market with carryout meals and ingredients.
