Family Of 4 Displaced In San Clemente House Fire
A family of four was safe after a fire damaged their San Clemente home Saturday.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — A family of four was safe after a fire burned their San Clemente home Saturday.
Firefighters learned of the blaze in the 1200 block of Vista Cayenta at 9:13 p.m., according to Orange County Fire Authority spokesperson Capt. Greg Barta.
Crews found a heavily involved garage fire threatening the adjacent home, he said.

Firefighters began an "aggressive" fire attack while searching the home for potential victims.

"They were able to use their skills they practice daily to quickly deploy hose lines," Barta said, adding that they knocked down the flames within 37 minutes. "This is just a good reminder for everyone to have working smoke alarms in their home."

Two adults and two children were displaced by the blaze, he said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
