S.C. Patch Readers Vote Rose Donuts Best Breakfast

Last week in our continuing Readers' Choice polls, we asked you who serves up the best breakfast in San Clemente.

Nearly 100 of you voted and commented on that poll, and the winner ison Camino de Los Mares, followed closely by on El Camino Real.

"Rose Donuts and Cafe has terrific baked goods," he said. "They have a huge apple fritter that is just packed with little apple pieces and so darkly tasty and crispy on the outside. Inside, the fritters are not gooey like some, but truly fully baked so you enjoy a crunch and an explosion of apple taste with each mouthful."
