San Clemente Sock Company Donates 1,000 to Marines

Stance Sock Company, founded in San Clemente in 2009 and recently expanded, donated 1,000 pairs of high-end socks Friday.

The Socks for Heroes Marine support group Friday got a boost from a growing San Clemente sock brand.

Stance socks, which makes a variety of artful and high-end socks aimed at skaters and snowboarders, donated a palete of 1,000 pairs of socks to ship to Marines serving overseas.

, founders of , said that Marines sometimes spend 10 days marching in the same pair of socks, so Stance's seamless wool-blend footwear will be a welcome addition.

Stance, which temporarily still has offices on South El Camino Real, is in the process of expanding into a large office space in a ware house off Avenida La Pata. The company was founded in 2009.
