San Clemente Fire: Forward Progress Stopped
The fire is behind the shopping center at Avenida Pico and Calle Del Cerro.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Orange County fire crews are on scene of a vegetation fire behind the shopping center at Avenida Pico and Calle Del Cerro, authorities said.
No injuries have been reported and no homes are threatened by the fire, authorities said on Twitter.
Firefighters say the fire is about seven acres and forward progress was stopped at around 1:45 p.m. Firefighters are putting a line around the fire.

The fire is east of Calle Del Cerro and some 50 firefighters are on scene.
Vonne Barnes, Rancho San Clemente Community Association board president, told Patch in an email that the fire is descending down the southwest face of Knob Hill.
