Walmart Announces Online and In Store Black Friday Deals, Including Gold iPad
The world's largest retailer will offer discounts on DVDs, video games and consoles, fitness wearables, small home appliances, and HDTVs.

A gold iPad is just one of the one-hour specials Walmart will include in its Black Friday deals.
The retail giant -- which has stores in San Clemente, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Niguel, Cerritos, and Long Beach -- will kick off its Black Friday sale at 12:01 a.m. online on Thanksgiving Day and at 6 p.m. in store, according to USA Today.
To purchase the gold iPad, buyers will need to be in a Walmart store Thanksgiving Day between 6 and 7 p.m. The sweet deals offered for that hour, according to PC Magazine, include

Walmart is advising shoppers to download their mobile app, which features the retailer’s Black Friday sale items and will include store maps and crowd management safety plans, in the near future, according to
“Our customers can count on us to deliver three things on Black Friday – we’re offering amazing prices, we bought deeper on the gifts they want, and we simplified the shopping experience in stores and online,” said Steve Bratspies, chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S. in an online statement.

Some of the items on sale include markdowns on TVs and video games, as well as the popular Fitbit Flex Wristband for $59 and a Sky Viper drone for $25.
“Walmart will never be the retailer that broadcasts a great price on Black Friday and then ends up only having a few in stock,” said Bratspies. “We bought deep on televisions, toys and more to ensure hundreds of customers in a store – not tens of customers – get the gift they want.”
Target has also announced its Black Friday deals, while outdoor retailer REI is giving its employees Black Friday off.
Walmart is giving its employees who work on Black Friday additional pay, as well as a free dinner and discounts.
