Business Mixer Offers 'Taste of South County'
Four chambers of commerce will mingle at a May 10 event hosted by Independence Bank. The public is also welcome.

Four local chambers of commerce will join for an evening of food, live music and prizes at the first Taste of South County Chamber of Commerce Mixer on May 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
, which belongs to all four chambers (San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente and Dana Point), will host the event at its San Juan Capistrano branch in the Vons Plaza on Camino Capistrano. Admission is $15 for chamber members and $25 for non-members.
The restaurants offering food samples include Laguna Niguel’s Brio Tuscany Grille, San Juan Capistrano’s , San Clemente’s and Dana Point’s Still Water at Renaissance.Â

Raffle prizes, including an HDTV provided by Independence Bank, will be donated by local businesses.
Independence Bank Director Terry Ross, a past president of the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce, billed the mixer as a good marketing tool for merchants and businesses.

In 2010, the bank hosted a tri-chamber mixer for San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point and San Clemente chamber members. In 2011, it held a mixer to celebrate the grand opening of its San Juan Capistrano branch, and the city's 50th birthday.
Before this year's mixer, the bank will hold a ribbon-cutting to celebrate its new membership in the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce and its one-year anniversary at the Vons Plaza.
