Participate In The 2022 San Juan Capistrano City Council Redistricting Process
Redistricting helps ensure that communities have equal access to political representation.
February 1, 2022
Every ten years, following the decennial U.S. Census, voting district boundaries are redrawn to account for any changes in population. Redistricting helps ensure that communities have equal access to political representation. As part of this effort, the City of San Juan Capistrano will be holding public hearings for residents to contribute to the process. Additionally, an online redistricting tool is available which allows the community to redraw district boundaries and view population data in real-time.
