How to Make Julienne Double-Chocolate Espresso Cookies

San Marino residents have the benefit of a short trip to  for baked goods, but visitors to the town are left without the same opportunity.

One North Carolina visitor to the area recently wrote the Los Angeles Times asking for ideas on how to replicate the restaurant's double chocolate espresso cookies, and the Times food section came back with a suggestion.
