2 Arrested In Sex Trafficking Bust In San Mateo: Police

Officers arrested two people after investigating a massage establishment, police said.

SAN MATEO, CA — Officers investigated a massage business in San Mateo and arrested a San Rafael resident involved in sex trafficking, police announced on Thursday.

On Oct. 30, San Mateo Police Department officers said they began investigating QQ Pain Management Health Center at 21 37th Ave for possible illegal sex work.

On Thursday, the SMPD confirmed ongoing acts of illegal sex work and executed a search warrant at the business.

Police said they arrested Yukman Cheung, age 42, of San Rafael, for "pimping for a prostitute, agreeing to receive money for the purpose of prostitution and engaging in prostitution."

Police said they also arrested a 43-year-old San Mateo resident who was charged with "engaging in prostitution."
