SAN MATEO, CA — Officers found a San Mateo man drunk driving after threatening to shoot multiple people, according to police.
Vincent Hogan Jr., 52, was arrested last week on suspicion of criminal threats and driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Officers responded Thursday, shortly before midnight, to the 200 block of Elm Street in San Mateo on a report that Hogan had threatened to shoot a person and their family member, according to police.

Officers saw Hogan driving nearby not long after and stopped him, police said, adding they did not find a gun, but they did take him to San Mateo County jail, where he was booked.
