The College of San Mateo Track And Field Team Won 4 Gold Medals, Will Host Finals

The College of San Mateo is set to host the finals Friday and Saturday.

SAN MATEO, CA — After snagging four gold medals at the Northern California CC Championships last weekend, the College of San Mateo track and field team will come back home to host the 3C2A state championship Friday and Saturday at College Heights.

CSM scored 64 points to lead all Coast Conference men’s teams last weekend at the NorCal championships at Butte College in Oroville.

Alydan Bague won the high jump, 6-6 3/4, and the triple jump, 46-11 3/4, and took silver in the long jump, 22-9 1/4, totaling 28 points for the Bulldogs.

Two school records were set in men’s sprints. Ryan Keyhan, a sophomore who previously attended Carlmont High School, ran a 10.45 in the 100 prelims, which broke his own CSM record.

Jax Bonney, who is the 400 meter champ in the Coast Conference, ran a 48.31 last weekend which ranks No. 9 all time for CSM.
