Chabad NP Invites you to Circus Style Purim
A creative, circus spin on the Purim celebration

Chabad of the North Peninsula is bringing the joy and fun of the holiday of Purim with a safe outdoor event. The Circus Style Purim Event will be held in S. Mateo on Thursday, March 17 at 5:00 PM, and is open to the entire community. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this year's celebration, with fun for the whole family. The event will feature live music and an interactive performance by acclaimed musician and animator Jonathan Bayer. Participants will enjoy the juggling act and comedy of Jeremiah Johnston, a slacklining activity, and more outdoor fun.
The holiday of Purim commemorates the salvation of the Jewish people from the hands of Haman, who wished to annihilate the Jews completely. Queen Esther and Mordechai, the heroes of the story, remind us to stand strong and fight for our beliefs. Purim is celebrated by sharing gifts of food with friends, giving charity to those in need, and spreading joy to those around us with fun and festivities.
In the spirit of Purim, everyone is encouraged to come in costume, and will be included in the masquerade. This community-wide event is a project of Chabad of the North Peninsula and is open to all, regardless of Jewish affiliation or background.
RSVP is required, and the location will be shared upon reservation. For more information and to reserve, visit chabadnp.com.com/circus.
