CMIT Solutions of San Mateo Hosting Giveback Webinar

SAN MATEO, Calif. – CMIT Solutions of San Mateo is hosting a virtual event to raise awareness for a California-based nonprofit that combats young female poverty.

As part of a system-wide giveback initiative, President of CMIT Solutions of San Mateo, Rachele Schainker, is hosting a virtual lunch and learn to raise awareness for the group, Speak Up for the Poor. The lunch and learn will take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 12 p.m. PST, featuring guest speaker, David Palmer, Director of Development for Speak Up for the Poor.

Speak Up for the Poor is nonprofit that educates and empowers vulnerable girls in Bangladesh. The group’s mission is to create a new reality for girls in poverty in three inter-connected ways: creating a safe home for at-risk-girls, running Girls Education Programs and partnering with the justice system to investigate human rights abuses.

“It’s an honor to have the opportunity to be part of an organization that emphasizes the importance of giving back, and to host an event for a group with such a great mission,” said Schainker, owner of CMIT Solutions of San Mateo. “Partnering with Speak Up for the Poor has given a lot of perspective on the fortunes in my own life, and I hope others will feel that same appreciation for this group.”
