Coastal Peninsula Sexual Assault Suspect Sought
The suspect is sought in connection with the sexual assault of a woman at around 4 p.m. Saturday at Gray Whale Cove Beach, authorities said.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a sexual assault suspect.
The suspect is sought in connection with the sexual assault of a woman at around 4 p.m. Saturday at Gray Whale Cove Beach, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30’s, approximately 5-foot-7, slightly overweight with a “beer belly” and with dark brown hair and a medium length brown colored beard, the Sheriff's Office said.

The suspect was wearing a dark navy-blue spandex style tight shirt, baggy cotton jogger pants, no socks and no shoes. He was wearing a black backpack at the time of the assault.
The description of the suspect was provided to a sketch artist who produced a rendering of the suspect.
