SAN MATEO, CA — Police closed all southbound lanes on an interstate near San Mateo Tuesday morning due to a car crash, according to the <a href="https://x.com/CHP_RedwoodCity/status/2011078120988680663" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">California Highway Patrol</a>. At around 6:10 a.m. on Tuesday, police said they closed all southbound lanes of Interstate 280 in San Mateo north of Highway 92. As of 8 a.m., one lane has been reopened, police said. CHP said significant traffic delays are expected and to use alternate routes until further notice. Police have not said whether there have been any injuries at this time.
